ANALYST - climate change & carbon markets

Julio holds an MSc in Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainability from the National University of Singapore. In combination with his studies and HAMERKOP, his research involved a landscape analysis of carbon certification standards in Southeast Asia, providing insights for stakeholders to the fast developing, policy-driven carbon ecosystem.

 Before joining HAMERKOP, he co-founded a waste management startup focused on developing leachate-based products and providing services to landfill operators and households across Java on improving waste management practices, ultimately increasing operational efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.

 As an analyst at HAMERKOP, Julio supports a range of assignments, including renewable energy and clean cooking.
